Arrival And Accessibility

Arriving at Peover Hall parking is on a field with limited hard floor parking.

The tea rooms are located adjacent to the car park, the following is an indication of distances:

Public toilets - approx 50m’s which include one bathroom that is larger than the others.

Garden – approx.50m there is a small cottage wooden gate in a brick wall through which you access the garden. The garden has a small amount of gravel / stone pathways and much of the route around the garden is on the lawn.

Carolean Stables – approx 100m on the flat, roadway made of small cobbles and concrete.

House - approx 200m the path having a slight cobbled and gravel surface. There is a flight of three steps into the main house and the tour does involve climbing three separate staircases, there is no lift available. A ramp can be arranged for access into the rear door to see some of the ground floor – although there are five steps down to the Grand Hall.

We want to be as accessible as we can be but due to the nature of the building, its age and design, access was not thought about when it was built. We are willing to offer help and support when we can and are more than happy to hear any reasonable suggestions you may have to improve access, but please remember this is an historic property and family home - not all areas are accessible to all.
